How does the Accelerated Reader (AR) program work?

Read a Book from AR list 

Parents, guardians, and students can visit  www.arbookfind.com to search for available titles by author, readability level, point value, and topic. There are over 100,000 books listed with AR quizzes.

Take the AR Quiz  

After reading the book, the student takes a quiz at the school which is immediately scored and recorded in the AR software.

Accumulated Data 

 You get immediate feedback on the reading progress for the student through the AR "Home Connect" feature.

 

What is the Home Connect feature?

Parents and students can login from home to monitor Accelerated Reader progress and:

• View goals, results of the last quiz taken, and overall progress for Reading Quizzes

• View My Bookshelf which shows the books read and quizzes taken

• Specify up to six email addresses of parents, guardians, or relatives, each of whom will receive updates of student progress via email.
