Ongoing classroom activities for Mission Helpers:

 

• 1st Grade:Decorate placemats for holiday dinners at the homeless shelter.

• 1st Grade:Bean Soup Jars for those in need - November.

• 1st Grade:Easter Baskets for deserving children in the area.

• 2nd Grade:Decorate placemats for holiday dinners at the homeless shelter.

• 2nd Grade:Christmas Boutique Drive benefiting families at St. Martin de Porres.

• 2nd Grade: Collection of toiletries for Abode Emergency homeless shelter.

• 3rd Grade:Decorate placemats for holiday dinners at the homeless shelter.

• 3rd Grade:Book Collection for Holy Family Sisters Day Care in San Francisco.

• 4th Grade:Fall Bake Sale to raise money for various causes - November.

• 4th Grade:Raised money for Ryan's Well and K.I.N.D. fund (Kids in Need of Desks)

• 4th Grade:Mission Walk in late May.

• 5th Grade:Spring Colonial Days raise money for the Red Cross for recent flood victims, Fremont Animal Shelter and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

• 6th Grade:Monthly collection of canned food for the Sister John Marie's food pantry.

• 7th Grade:Fundraiser to help Ryan's Well, an organization that brings clean drinking water to the poorest regions of the world.

• 8th Grade:Fundraiser to help fellow 8th graders at Our Lady of the Rosary in Union City with their Graduation Dinner/Dance costs.
